Shuttering Carpenter (Sizewell C)

Main Duties:

Formwork Construction
Build and assemble shutters/formwork for concrete pours (e.g. columns, slabs, walls, beams, and bases).
Measure, cut, and assemble timber, plywood, or metal formwork panels in line with drawings and specifications.
Ensure all formwork is level, plumb, square, and properly aligned.
Concrete Pour Preparation
Check formwork stability and tightness before each concrete pour.
Apply release agents and prepare surfaces as required.
Assist during the pour to ensure even filling and prevent blowouts or deformation of the formwork.
Quality and Workmanship
Maintain high workmanship standards to meet tolerance and finish requirements.
Report any issues, defects, or discrepancies to the site supervisor immediately.

Requirements:

CSCS Blue card
Previous Shuttering carpenter experience is a must.
