We are looking for a design focused, self-starter to oversee our Calgary Showroom and drive growth. Through your critical thinking and exceptional customer service skills, you will lead the team with proactive solution-oriented strategies while effortlessly juggling competing priorities. With your passion for design and cultivating a positive work environment, you will embody the ROBINSON brand of bringing building and homes to life!
What you will do:
• Lead the branch culture, ensuring employee engagement and alignment with the company’s mission, vision, values, and philosophy
• Create a customer centric environment and ensure the shopping experience is easy and enjoyable
• Oversee all aspects of staffing, including assessing current team and handling full employee life cycle
• Guide the creation and execution of individual development plans for the team, identifying training needs while utilizing internal and external resources
• Build strong relationships with customers and vendors while focusing the team on client acquisition and building profitable client connections
• Establish a plan for the Showroom to meet the budgeted sales targets and business development goals to increase market share
• Partner with marketing and leadership to develop marketing initiatives and enable the Showroom to meet targets
• Accountable the safety and compliance of the branch with company policies and regulations
About you:
• Minimum 5 years experience leading a team and cultivating individual growth and overall team development
• Dynamic customer service skills with the ability to train and mentor staff
• Critical thinker and problem solver with a strategic mindset and entrepreneurial spirit
• Strong sales track record, including success expanding a client base and building relationships
• Passionate about design, including interior design, furniture, and architecture
• Experience in a specialty retail setting (preferably plumbing)
