Job Description

We are looking for a passionate customer facing professional to nurture our clientele at our luxury flagship showroom on the Gold Coast.

As two experienced Showroom Consultant, 1 x casual 1 x full time you will have the opportunity to show your expertise and design skills as you engage with retail clients, architects, designers and builders, with the ultimate goal of bringing our client's vision to life in our busy space.

What you will be doing:

  • You will have an eye for design and a flair for putting together colours, materials and fixtures. With experience in consulting with clients on creative briefs in the showroom.
  • Previous experience in interior design or the building industry is advantageous.
  • Previous sales experience in a high pace environment is preferred, with a confident ability to negotiate and close sales, moving seamlessly between customers.
  • Conducting sales and design consults, ensuring services are consistent.
  • Growing and maximising sales, leads, and opportunities.
  • Processing quotes, invoices, and orders via email, or phone.
  • Collaborating with customers, teams, and departments in a proactive and professional manner.
  • Assisting other team members and stakeholders with all sales and design enquiries.
  • Supporting across all aspects of the Showroom, including Reception and Service Desk.

About you:

  • A high level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A driven and focused attitude.
  • Committed to assisting clients to achieve their desired outcomes.
  • Project and time management skills.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Proficiency in using systems such as Salesforce, Ring DNA, WooCommerce, etc.
  • Available to maximise the ABI Interiors experience throughout the week, including weekends, in various locations where required.
  • Be on call to help when needed, supporting the teams annual leave and busy periods.

  • 1 x full time - Monday to Friday
  • 1 x casual - varied shifts between 7:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday and 8:30am - 3:00pm Saturday ( must be available to work on the Saturday)
