The Showroom & Sales Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while supporting Storm Smart’s Sales, Installation, and Service operations. As the first point of contact in the showroom, this position puts customers first by creating a welcoming, informative, and professional environment for every visitor.
This role delivers results by converting walk-in, phone, and internet inquiries into scheduled sales appointments, maintaining accurate CRM activity, and supporting the sales pipeline through quality-check calls and follow-up coordination. The Showroom & Sales Operations Coordinator owns accountability for accurate documentation, payment processing, and cross-department communication while acting with integrity in every customer interaction and transaction.
Through strong organization, proactive follow-up, and dependable execution, this role also leads with care by supporting Installation and Service teams, ensuring customers, technicians, and sales representatives are aligned, informed, and set up for success.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Put Customers First | Showroom & Customer Experience
- Approaches, greets, and assists every customer who enters the showroom with professionalism and care.
- Creates a positive, knowledgeable, and welcoming first impression of Storm Smart.
- Provides guidance on product options, brochures, and samples to support customer education and appointment setting.
- Ensures showroom displays, materials, and products are current, organized, and professionally presented.
- Maintains cleanliness, organization, and overall showroom appearance.
- Completes daily activity reports to track showroom visitors and customer interactions.
Deliver Results | Lead Development & Sales Operations
- Conducts daily lead development activities, converting walk-in, phone, and internet leads into scheduled appointments.
- Schedules and manages appointments using Salesforce, Chili Piper, calendars, and lead conversion tools.
- Meets daily in-person and outbound call activity expectations to support sales performance.
- Assists Sales Representatives with sales presentation materials and administrative preparation.
- Collects and processes customer payments accurately through the approved mobile application.
Own Accountability | CRM Management & Quality Assurance
- Places quality-check calls following sales appointments to ensure customer satisfaction and engagement.
- Maintains accurate and timely Salesforce CRM updates, including pre-call status, appointment outcomes, reschedules, cancellations, and quote-stage follow-ups.
- Creates follow-up actions for quoted appointments and re-engages customers in quote status.
- Monitors weekly appointment and activity reports, following up to ensure data accuracy and pipeline integrity.
Lead with Care | Installation & Service Support
- Responds professionally to incoming service calls and customer needs.
- Creates, tracks, dispatches, and closes service tickets using Acumatica and Microsoft Office tools.
- Coordinates closely with Installation and Service teams to ensure timely communication and job completion.
- Monitors technician assignments and follows up consistently, including within 24 hours of scheduling.
- Supports Installation operations through permit coordination, material delivery support, contract filing, and organized documentation.
Act with Integrity | Administrative & Operational Excellence
- Maintains accurate, organized, and compliant documentation across sales, service, and installation functions.
- Performs clerical functions including scanning, copying, and filing of service and sales documents.
- Handles customer payments, service tickets, and customer information with professionalism, confidentiality, and honesty.
- Supports special projects and operational initiatives, as assigned.

Required Skills/ Abilities:

Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree or related business coursework preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in customer service, sales support, showroom, service coordination, or administrative roles preferred
- CRM, scheduling, and service-ticket system experience strongly preferred
- Construction, home services, or retail showroom experience a plus
