Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and professional Full-Time Showing Agent to assist with showing single-family rental properties to prospective tenants from Hope to Vancouver.

This role is ideal for someone who is personable, organized, comfortable communicating with prospective renters, and able to work independently.

The Showing Agent will be responsible for attending scheduled property showings, presenting homes professionally, answering general questions, and providing feedback to the property management team following each appointment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled showings of single-family rental properties to prospective tenants.
• Arrive at properties on time and ensure the home is ready and presentable for each showing.
• Provide prospective tenants with general information about the property, rental terms, and application process.
• Answer basic questions regarding the home, neighbourhood, availability, and tenancy requirements.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with prospective tenants.
• Confirm showing appointments and communicate any scheduling changes as required.
• Open and secure properties before and after each showing.
• Ensure lights, doors, windows, and locks are properly checked before leaving the property.
• Report any maintenance, cleanliness, or property condition concerns noticed during showings.
• Provide feedback to the Property Manager regarding prospective tenant interest and comments.
• Assist with open houses or group showings when required.
• Maintain accurate records of completed showings and prospective tenant attendance.
• Follow company procedures regarding property access, keys, lockboxes, and security.
• Assist with taking updated property photos or basic property information when required.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively at all times.
• Perform other showing or leasing-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in property management, real estate, leasing, sales, or customer service is considered an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Friendly, professional, and comfortable meeting new people.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable using email, text messaging, scheduling applications, and basic property management technology.
• Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle required.
• Ability to travel between rental properties.
• Knowledge of the local rental market is considered an asset.

Schedule: Flexible schedule based on showing appointments, including some evenings and weekends as required.
