Job Description

Cleans the Showboat by performing the following duties.

This position starts now and ends 01/04/2027.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

The shift begins at 6:00am and ends at 2:00pm.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a current, valid driver’s license.
  • Able to communicate efficiently.
  • Able to perform basic math.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned to assist the Showboat teams.

  • Vacuums, scrubs, mops, and polishes floors.
  • Moves furniture as needed to clean and rearrange as necessary.
  • Cleans bathrooms including sinks, toilets, and floors.
  • Cleans and dust walls, ceilings, fans, woodwork, decorations, and furniture.
  • Washes windows inside and out.
  • Empties wastebaskets and transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
  • Replenishes bathroom supplies such as toilet tissue, soap, and towels.
  • Maintains equipment, performing minor and routine painting and other maintenance activities.
  • Inspects and evaluates the physical appearance of the Showboat.
  • Submits recommendations for painting, repairs, and furnishings.
  • Follows directions and is flexible, sometimes working alone or with others.
  • Works within allotted labor budget.
  • Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and material properly.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Applies feedback to improve performance.
  • Adapts to change in the work environment; Deals with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Follows instructions, responds to management directions; Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals.
  • Works with integrity and ethics; upholds organizational values.
  • Responds promptly to customer needs; Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Keeps emotions under control even when dealing with difficult situations.

  • Stand: Uneven terrain, inclines, asphalt, and concrete.
  • Walk: Uneven and sloped surfaces, including to and from assigned employee parking and employees assigned work area.
  • Lift/Carry/Push/Pull: Up to 30lbs.
  • Climb: Up/down stairs, and uneven and sloped surfaces.
  • Repetitive Motion: Balance, kneel, squat, bend, twist, sweep, mop, and vacuum.
  • Use fingers and hands to handle and feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • Speak and hear clearly.
  • See: Near/far, depth perception, and color vision.
