🎯 Purpose

Perform duties to plan, prepare, and set up assigned video system elements for live events. Support additional technical components as needed to ensure all video requirements are executed according to contract specifications and company quality standards. Work with digital video workflows in a high-profile event environment. Travel is required.

🔧 Essential Functions

Review schedules, contracts, show sheets, and other documentation

Determine event requirements and equipment needs; communicate pull lists and resolve pre-production issues

Travel to venues, assess setup locations, confirm power and space needs, and coordinate with venue staff and clients

Receive and inspect equipment; verify manifests and report missing or damaged items

Serve as Lead Show Technician or team member; communicate priorities, direct techs and freelancers, and document show details

Set up, configure, tune, and operate video equipment and systems

Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with other technical staff

Demonstrate equipment for clients and adjust setups as needed

Protect equipment during downtime; strike and pack gear properly; assist with truck loading

Maintain updated knowledge of AV and lighting technology; attend trainings and recommend equipment improvements
