Requirements
🎥 Your Responsibilities
- Edit content designed for high retention, including:
- Reels / Shorts / YouTube videos
- Ads and performance-driven creatives
- Optimize videos by focusing on:
- Captivating hooks within the first 3 seconds
- Maximizing watch time and retention rates
- Collaborate closely with founders and creators to develop content that grabs attention and encourages scrolling
- Manage sound design, pacing, transitions, and storytelling elements
- Customize edits to fit the specific requirements of each platform (Instagram, YouTube, Ads)
- Leverage data and insights such as drop-off points and engagement metrics to enhance editing quality
🧠 Qualifications We Seek
- Between 1 and 4 years of experience in content or video editing
- Proficient with:
- Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro
- Experience collaborating with:
- Creators, influencers, startups, and content production teams
- Solid understanding of:
- The psychology behind short-form content
- Effective hooks, pacing, and storytelling techniques
- Plus if you:
- Have contributed to YouTube or Instagram growth initiatives
- Are familiar with performance marketing creatives
