We are looking for a Short Term Planner to join our Engineering (CAMO) team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong maintenance planning experience who is ready to take ownership of short‑term fleet planning, optimise maintenance activity, and play a vital role in keeping our aircraft airworthy and available for our military and civil customers.

What you'll be doing
- Manage maintenance for a fleet of 14 aircraft to ensure continuous airworthiness and prevent maintenance overruns.
- Maintain and continually optimise the rolling three‑month maintenance plan.
- Identify risks in the maintenance schedule and implement mitigation strategies.
- Support aircraft availability to maximise revenue opportunities.
- Prioritise maintenance to minimise operational impact.
- Optimise resource allocation (hangar space, manpower, materials).
- Create work orders for Line Maintenance, recoveries, deployments, and 6MO/1A checks.
- Coordinate with MROs to ensure efficient scheduling and timely completion.
- Collaborate with the Mid/Long‑Term Planner to support long‑term planning activity.
- Manage Work Order execution by coordinating CAMO, Base/Line Maintenance, Materials, and Operations teams.
- Use the GCIS Maintenance IT Support system where applicable.
- Deputise for the Planning Manager when required.
- Maintain safety, quality, and environmental standards in line with ATRS SMS and company policy.
What you'll bring
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance planning (ideally in a CAMO environment).
- Experience planning maintenance on wide‑body aircraft.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- Project management experience (formal qualification desirable).
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of UK CAA, MAA and EASA regulations.
- Experience with MRO IT systems (Envision, AMOS, Trax, etc.).
- Proven ability to write procedures and processes.
- Experience training new starters.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of Airbus A330 Maintenance Planning Document.
