Short-term Nanny

Department: Care Finder

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Monroe, GA

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 / hour

A lovely family located in Monroe, GA near Bear Creek Golf Course is seeking a Nanny to provide childcare for a 2 and 3 year old. Care is needed from July 20th through August 25th, with the potential for an extended part-time position to extend beyond that date. The ideal candidate is dependable, punctual, nurturing, and enjoys creating a fun and safe environment for children.

Schedule:
  • Monday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Thursday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Friday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Start Date: July 20th
End Date: August 25th (with potential for part-time hours after this date)

Rate: $18-20 per hour
Children: 2 - Ages: 2 and 3 years old

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities include providing attentive childcare and maintaining a safe, positive environment, including:
    • Preparing meals and snacks for the children
    • Engaging in age-appropriate activities and play
    • Following routines established by the family
    • Communicating effectively with parents regarding daily activities and any concerns
    • Assisting with light household chores related to the children, including tidying play areas, children's dishes, and organizing toys

Requirements

  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of paid, professional childcare experience
  • Be able to provide at least two childcare-related professional references
  • Be CPR certified or willing to become certified
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Successfully pass a background check and social media screening

Compensation

This position pays $18 - 20 per hour, and the family is looking for 30 hours of care per week.
