We are seeking PRN Physical Therapists to provide outpatient orthopedic coverage when our full-time Physical Therapist is out of the office. This position offers a flexible schedule and is ideal for therapists seeking supplemental income, schedule flexibility, or occasional outpatient clinical work. The PRN Physical Therapist will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining continuity of treatment plans and supporting clinic operations during coverage periods. Primary Responsibilities: Provide outpatient physical therapy services in an orthopedic and balance-focused setting Perform patient evaluations and re-evaluations as needed Develop and modify individualized plans of care Implement evidence-based treatment interventions and therapeutic exercise programs Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly Educate patients on home exercise programs and strategies for continued recovery Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure excellent patient experiences and continuity of care Maintain all standards of professional practice and regulatory compliance Perform other duties consistent with the role of a Physical Therapist Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program Current and unrestricted Virginia Physical Therapist license Ability to practice independently and efficiently in an outpatient setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional, dependable, and adaptable Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain) Preferred Qualifications: One (1) or more years of outpatient orthopedic experience Experience with balance, vestibular, or sports rehabilitation populations Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems Position Details: Employment Type: PRN / As Needed Location: Short Pump, Virginia Schedule: Variable; coverage provided when the clinic's full-time Physical Therapist is unavailable Compensation: Competitive PRN contractor rates based on experience $40-$48/Hour Why Join Our Team: Flexible scheduling Opportunity to supplement your current practice or employment Work with a respected and growing outpatient rehabilitation organization Supportive clinic environment focused on patient outcomes and quality care Exposure to orthopedic, balance, vestibular, and functional rehabilitation patients If you are a Virginia-licensed Physical Therapist seeking a flexible PRN opportunity in an outpatient setting, we encourage you to apply and join our team.
