Job Description

The Shorex Sales Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring that guests have access to memorable and well-organized excursion experiences at one or more Carnival Corporation owned and operated global destination. This position is responsible for promoting and selling a variety of shore excursions and activities, providing detailed and accurate information to guests to help them make informed choices. The role also involves coordinating the dispatch of tours, including verifying guest participation, assisting with group assembly, and ensuring timely departures. Administrative responsibilities include assisting with clerical tasks, printing and distributing excursion tickets, maintaining accurate sales and operational records, and supporting communication between guests, vendors, and internal teams. A strong focus on customer service is essential, as the Shorex Sales Attendant addresses guest inquiries, resolves concerns, and helps to deliver a seamless excursion experience. By combining sales, operational, and administrative support, this position contributes directly to guest satisfaction and the smooth execution of shore excursion operations.

Key Accountabilities / Job Functions

1. Guest Sales & Support

Work at the Shore Excursion desk, pier, or designated locations to promote and sell tours.

Assist guests with inquiries by providing accurate and helpful information about excursions.

Register guests for cruise tours and ensure smooth booking processes.

Represent the company professionally, delivering service with enthusiasm and courtesy.

2. Tour Dispatch & Coordination

Assist with the organization and implementation of tour dispatches.

Help manage guest flow during embarkation and departure for excursions.

Ensure accurate guest participation and timely communication with vendors or guides.

3. Ticketing & Administrative Support

Support with tour ticket delivery, printing, and distribution.

Assist with voyage preparation tasks and related clerical duties.

Maintain accurate records of sales and participation for reporting purposes.

4. Additional Duties & Collaboration

Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or management team.

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless guest service and operational efficiency.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Adheres to Corporate Policies and Procedures, including Code of Conduct, Audit Procedures and any control related responsibility for financial data entered, stored, or reported via business systems within employee’s control (list not exhaustive).
