Based on the description below, we are looking for a Shopify/Magento Developer with a strong background in design to join our superstar team!



We are in search of a talented Shopify/Magento Web Developer to join our team. This role requires a professional with both design and development expertise, as well as substantial experience in Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban. As a crucial member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and launching new Shopify websites from scratch, as well as maintaining Magento websites, focusing on creating an exceptional user experience.



Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and understand project goals.
• Develop and customize e-commerce websites using Magento and Shopify platforms.
• Customize and extend Magento and Shopify functionalities to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize websites for performance, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring seamless website functionality.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Provide technical support and resolve issues related to Magento and Shopify development.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a Magento and Shopify Developer with a strong portfolio of previous e-commerce projects.
• In-depth knowledge of Magento 2 and Shopify platforms, including their architecture, customization, and extension development.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with Magento and Shopify APIs, integrating third-party components and payment gateways.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design principles and mobile-friendly development.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Magento and Shopify certifications are a plus.
• Experience with other e-commerce platforms and technologies is an advantage.
• Knowledge of web security best practices.
• Familiarity with web performance optimization techniques.
  

Software Requirements:

• Proficiency in Magento 2 and Shopify platforms.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Familiarity with web development tools and IDEs.
• Knowledge of popular web browsers and their developer tools.
