Job Title: Shopify Web Developer (AI Experience)



We are seeking a skilled Shopify Web Developer with AI experience to support design, develop, and optimize our eCommerce website. The ideal candidate combines strong Shopify development expertise with the ability to integrate AI-driven tools to enhance user experience, personalization, and operational efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the development, customization and maintenance of Shopify themes based on business requirements
• Maintain and update the website to ensure smooth functionality
• Build responsive, user-friendly themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO
• Integrate third-party apps, APIs, and payment gateways
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Implement AI tools for personalization (product recommendations, dynamic content)
• Integrate AI chatbots and customer support automation
• Utilize AI for data analysis (customer behavior, conversion optimization)
• Explore and deploy AI solutions for marketing automation and product tagging
• 
  Stay updated on emerging AI tools relevant to eCommerce
• Support A/B testing and continuous UX/UI improvements
• Ensure mobile-first and cross-browser compatibility
• Maintain documentation for developed features and integrations
• Improve conversion rates through technical enhancement
• Integrate third-party apps, APIs, and payment gateways
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs
  
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams for campaign implementation
  
• Implement technical SEO best practices (meta tags, schema, site structure)
  
• Monitor website performance using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Shopify reports)
  
• Support data-driven improvements
• Ensure website security and data protection standards
• Maintain backups and implement updates regularly
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in web development and AI technologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Shopify platform web development, with a focus on AI technologies
• Strong proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Experience with Shopify APIs and custom app development
• Familiarity with Git/version control
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with Google Analytics, SEO, and performance optimization
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Basic understanding of UX/UI design principles
