This high-visibility position, reporting into the Senior Shopify Developer / Tech Lead for North American Digital Commerce. This role will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Shopify-based e-commerce storefronts. This will include building and customizing Liquid templates, theme components, and app integrations to deliver engaging shopping experiences. Key collaborators will be marketing, sales, and site merchandising teams, as well as other Shopify developers both locally and globally, with the goal to implement and iterate on storefront features. This role will apply foundational knowledge of Shopify theme development and front-end engineering to implement features and maintain the US + Canada e-commerce storefront.


Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Implements front-end and back-end changes requested by marketing, sales, and site merchandising teams — including promotional banners, landing pages, collection updates, and product display logic
  • Builds and modifies Shopify sections, blocks, and snippets to support flexible, reusable content layouts
  • Integrates third-party apps and custom Shopify APIs (Storefront API, Admin API) to extend storefront functionality
  • Participates in code reviews and adheres to team coding standards and version control practices (Git)
  • Troubleshoots and resolves storefront bugs and performance issues in a timely manner
  • Collaborates with the global development team to consume and adapt shared components and theme updates for the US + CA market.
  • Supports QA and UAT processes, ensuring changes are tested across browsers and devices before deployment.
  • Maintains technical documentation for custom theme components and integrations.


Qualifications

  • Prior experience working directly in Shopify environments
  • Cross-functional collaboration (especially with Global teams)
  • Technical experience required:
    • Shopify liquid, Theme Architecture
    • JavaScript, HTML / CSS / Tailwind or similar
    • Shopify APIs (Storefront, Admin, AJAX cart)
    • Metafields, Metaobjects, Custom Data
    • Git / Version Control + Branching workflows
    • Third-Party app integration and evaluation
  • Prior experience with CPG companies preferred

Compensation and Benefits:


• The expected starting compensation range for this position is 184,000 PLN annually (gross).
• Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
• This role is eligible for an annual bonus, based on performance and eligibility.
