We are hiring a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Shopify Administrator to support the backend operations and content management of a growing e-commerce brand. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and experienced in managing day-to-day tasks in Shopify. Youll be responsible for ensuring clean product data, accurate listings, smooth launches, and performance trackingplaying a key role in keeping the storefront optimized and running efficiently.
Manage product uploads on Shopify, including SKUs, descriptions, tags, images, and alt text
Maintain and update product kits, bundles, personalization options, and custom fields
Perform regular quality checks across desktop and mobile to ensure a smooth UX
Monitor and report bugs, site issues, or design gaps
Maintain an organized image drive and product attribute tracker (e.g., Airtable)
Support product launches and seasonal collection updates
Create and manage UPC codes and Shopify metafields
Pull and analyze sales data to support merchandising and marketing teams
Generate reports on KPIs like site performance, conversions, returns, and A/B test outcomes
QA shipping invoices, check 3PL SLA compliance, and report fulfillment performance
Set up and track promo codes and sales campaigns
Monitor reviews and customer feedback for trends and insights

At least 3-5 years of freelancing experience
Strong background in e-commerce operations and product data management
Advanced spreadsheet/reporting skills and analytical mindset
Experience with Shopify backend and apps
Excellent QA habits across multiple devices and browsers
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Highly organized and proactive with excellent attention to detail
Fast learner with new tools and platforms
Prior experience with direct-to-consumer (DTC) or US-based e-commerce brands is a plus
Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm US EST
