Shop Helper – Manufacturing & Fabrication

Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $18–$21 per hour

Build, Support, and Grow with Our Team
We're looking for a dependable Shop Helper / Pallet Builder to support our manufacturing operations. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, building products, staying active throughout the day, and contributing to a team-oriented environment. You'll help build pallets and shipping crates, assist throughout the shop, and provide backup support for sandblasting operations when needed.

What You'll Do
• Build and repair wooden pallets, skids, and shipping crates.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Assist with material handling, loading, unloading, and staging products.
• Support production, fabrication, shipping, and receiving departments as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform general shop duties and housekeeping tasks.
• Provide backup support for sandblasting operations when required.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Assist with inventory organization and material movement throughout the facility.
What We're Looking For
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• Willingness to learn and assist in multiple areas of the shop.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Manufacturing, warehouse, construction, carpentry, or shop experience is a plus.
• Sandblasting experience is helpful but not required.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and manual material handling.
• Ability to work safely around machinery and production equipment.
• Must wear required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toe boots.
