Job Description

We are seeking a Full-Time Shop Assistant in our Warehouse. This person will assist with Shipping / Receiving, logistics, organizing, checking in equipment, and driving to local rental warehouses. In this role you will assist with all shipping and receiving functions, as well as the documentation of all incoming packages and equipment.

This could be the ideal position for a person with 1 - 2 years of experience working in a similar environment.

This is Monday - Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm, on-site out of our Van Nuys, CA facility. The wage is $19-$21 per hour. There will be a need for overtime to accommodate our clients schedules which can include some weekends.

Key duties include:

• Responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory control, and completing driving logs.
• Deliver and pick up equipment in a timely and professional manner and extend excellent customer service.
• Ensure that equipment is ready for shipment and will operate correctly for customer satisfaction
• Travel to offsite locations to deliver equipment and assist with pre-and post-show setup as needed
• Keep vehicles clean, fueled, and performs regular inspections of tires and fluid levels and notifies management of any maintenance or repairs that are needed on any fleet vehicle.
• Assist in gathering equipment for packages when requested.
• Process FedEx and SOS shipping documents

Requirements:

• Experience with receiving / expediting, asset management and inventory control preferred.
• Capable of working with the Entire Office suite, especially Excel, Crystal reporting system experience is a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record is required.
• 1 - 2 years experience in a Warehouse or similar facilities is preferred.
• Strong and effective communication skills.
• Willingness to take on new challenges and problems and follows through on commitments made to internal and external customers.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
