Shipside Operations Specialist

​​Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) are looking for Shipside Operations Specialists (Level 4) to support the 777 Line Side Control Center LSCC) team onsite in Everett, Washington.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise to the work cell team on the appropriate path and resources required to efficiently and effectively resolve production issues.

  • Use advanced technical knowledge, understanding of process flow, and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organization.

  • Utilize tracking system to document, communicate, and ensure resolve of production issues.

  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.

  • May analyze and interpret data and provide root cause corrective action and trend data to identify and eliminate high impact and systemic issues.

  • Coordinate and facilitate multi-function group meetings required to resolve issues.

  • Provides coaching and instruction to other teammates and works under minimal direction.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment

  • 10+ years of experience working in a multi-functional team environment

  • 10+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action

  • 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 14+ years of experience working in operations analysis or operations research

  • 14+ years of experience in a role that required excellent communication, collaboration, networking, and interpersonal skills

  • 14+ years of experience in a role that required strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Shift:

This role is primarily 1st and/or 2nd SHIFT ; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.
