Job Description

As a Ship/Receiving Specialist Level 2 here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a critical role in managing the shipping and receiving functions to ensure timely and accurate movement of materials and products. You will be responsible for coordinating shipments, verifying incoming and outgoing goods, and maintaining accurate records to support supply chain operations.

You will report directly to our Supply Chain Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and accuracy of our supply chain processes by ensuring that shipments and receipts are handled smoothly, supporting production schedules and customer delivery commitments.

  • Coordinate and execute shipping and receiving activities to meet production and customer requirements.
  • Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments, including documentation and physical inspection.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, receipts, and inventory transactions in the system.
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements in all shipping and receiving operations.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Experience in shipping and receiving operations within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control and material handling procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems and shipping software to track and document shipments.
  • Ability to inspect and verify shipments for quality and compliance with company standards.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices related to shipping and receiving activities.

WE VALUE

  • additional certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.
  • 1+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams to support supply chain goals.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems such as PeopleSoft or SAP is advantageous.
