Job Title/High Level Position Summary

Utilizing a developing to full understanding of Company systems, practices, procedures, and demonstrating a proficient ability at most to all the required skill sets, this position performs a variety of moderate physical and administrative tasks that are involved with the distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Under general supervision and with limited independent discretion, duties may include but are not limited to: 

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and package items for shipment.
  • Verify shipping orders and ensure accuracy of products, quantities, and addresses.
  • Create shipping labels, packing slips, and other required documentation.
  • Coordinate with carriers.
  • Schedule pickups and deliveries.
  • Track shipments and provide status updates to customers or internal departments.
  • Maintain shipping records and inventory logs.
  • Inspect packages for damage and ensure proper packaging standards.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified).
  • Resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, or lost packages.
  • Follow company safety procedures and shipping regulations
  • Embrace safety culture. 
  • Participate in audits and 5S program. 
  • Moderate knowledge in continuous improvement activities. 
  • Inform supervisor or lead of work-related problems. 
  • Mentor material handler'

Minimum Basic Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience. 
  • Data entry and computer knowledge (Outlook, excel, word, power point, etc.)
  • ERP system knowledge. 
  • Must be forklift certified. 
  • High School Diploma 

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Typical warehouse environment 
  • Must be able to sit, stand, or walk up to 8 hours a day. 
  • Must be able to frequently carry (up to 30 feet each time) up to 60 lbs. 
  • Have full range of motion of the waist and neck. 
  • Have unrestricted use of upper extremities and preform over-head reaching.
  • Frequently bend (to the floor), twist, and kneel. 
  • Ability to work in a non- temperature-controlled environment.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
