Job Description

This position is responsible for fulfilling PPE orders from internal and external clients. Maintaining inventory levels and determining when these levels need to be replenished is also a major function of the position. This position is responsible for receiving and warehousing new inventory as it arrives, and keeping the warehouse organized in general. The ideal candidate will have experience inputting data and will be detailed oriented.

EDUCATION:

Required: High School Diploma

Preferred: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience

EXPERIENCE:

Required: 1-2 years of previous warehouse experience

Preferred: 3+ years of experience working in a shipping or receiving role in the chemical industry

POSITION REQUIREMENT(S): Specialized Skills/License/Certification

Required: Ability to communicate effectively, strong organizational and time management skills

CORE COMPETENCIES (Essential Job Functions)

  • Fulfill PPE orders for internal and external customers.
  • Data entry Help to maintain inventory levels.
  • Receive, count, and restock new inventory in proper location when received.
  • Decide which is the cheapest and/or most effective carrier to use.
  • Close orders in MAS, mainly LtL orders.
  • Create backorders for items that are not in stock.
  • Contact the carriers for pick-up to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, both inside and outside of the building.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7AM - 3:30PM
