Shipping Warehouse Supervisor - Second Shift

Newark, NJ

$70,000- $85,000 DOE

Monday–Thursday, 11:00 AM–8:00 PM

Flexibility Required: Half days on Fridays and/or Sundays as needed

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, highly motivated Shipping Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure efficient picking, loading, and on-time truck departures.

The ideal candidate is a strong people leader who takes ownership, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is willing to go above and beyond to ensure operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead warehouse pickers and loaders to maintain productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure trucks are loaded accurately and dispatched on schedule without delays.
  • Monitor daily workflows, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve operational issues.
  • Manage employee schedules, performance, and accountability.
  • Motivate and develop team members through strong communication and leadership.
  • Maintain smooth operations in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment.
  • Take full ownership of department performance and remain engaged until daily operations are completed.

Qualifications

  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience required.
  • Strong operations background preferred; warehouse, shipping, or logistics experience is a plus but not required.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Proven ability to manage, motivate, and hold teams accountable.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to oversee operations on a larger scale.
  • Proactive, dependable, adaptable, and willing to take initiative.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and team-oriented mindset.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours when operational needs require.
