Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE:
To perform all shipping, return and receiving functions for our Chippewa Falls fulfillment centers.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
1. Unload trucks and distribute product to be received in.
2. Enter purchase order (P.O.) into the warehouse management system, scan product into the system and apply printed label onto the case to be put to bin.
3. Perform audits to ensure the received items match the packing slip for quantity and correct item, send Quality Action Request (QAR) to Quality Control Department as needed and/or communicate with other departments as necessary for problem resolution.
4. Open cases and scan product to bin; cut down boxes.
5. Pick product from the bin or pallet, place correct picking label on the item and place on conveyor or deliver to packing area.
6. Scan item into the warehouse management system to confirm correct pick and to obtain shipping label, place/pack item in the correct size box with the designated materials and seal package for shipment.
7. Perform inventory control functions including adjustment of items into and out of inventory, problem resolution, cycle counting, correction of errors, etc.
8. Process priority shipments, coordinate dock activities and work with carriers to assure they have proper documentation.
9. Perform inventory cycle counts. Use RF equipment to scan items in bin for accountability and to maintain inventory accuracy.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
1. High school graduate or equivalent, preferred.
2. Must be at least 18 years old.
SCHEDULE:
1. Work days are Monday-Friday; Some Saturday work is required but is typically only during our peak business times.
2. Shifts available between the hours of 6:30 am and 4:30 pm.
3. Variable/Flexible scheduling available.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
1. Requires continuous standing and frequent walking.
2. Requires frequent twisting, stooping/bending at the waist and squatting.
3. Requires normal hearing and sight on a continuous basis.
4. Requires frequent reaching above shoulders, at shoulder height and below shoulders.
5. Ability to manipulate objects on a continuous basis with one and/or both hands.
6. Must be able to frequently lift up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with another person in a team lift.
7. Must be able to frequently carry up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with another person in a team carry.
8. Ability to frequently push and pull up to 35 pounds, with occasional heavy pushing and pulling of fully loaded carts and palletized items up to 40 pounds.
