About the Role

The Shipping Specialist executes daily shipping operations by preparing, processing, and verifying outbound shipments. The role ensures accuracy of orders, compliance with shipping requirements, and timely delivery. The position contributes to operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

Shipping Operations & Order Processing


• Own shipment accuracy by preparing and verifying outbound orders before dispatch.
• Pick, pack, and stage materials according to order requirements and schedules.
• Verify order details including quantities, labelling, and shipping documentation.
• Prepare shipping documents including bills of lading and packing lists.
• Coordinate shipment preparation to meet delivery deadlines and priorities.
• Load and stage shipments for transport in accordance with procedures.


Inventory & System Accuracy


• Record shipping transactions accurately within ERP or warehouse systems.
• Update shipment status and maintain accurate documentation records.
• Identify discrepancies in orders or inventory and resolve issues promptly.
• Assist with inventory tracking and cycle count activities as required.
• Maintain organization of shipping areas to support efficient operations.
• Ensure alignment between physical shipments and system records.


Compliance, Safety & Continuous Improvement


• Ensure shipping activities comply with company policies and procedures.
• Follow established safety practices and use required protective equipment.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas aligned with operational standards.
• Report issues impacting shipping accuracy, safety, or performance.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance shipping processes.
• Participate in training and development activities to improve performance.

Additional Expectations

  • Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
  • Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
  • Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
  • Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

What You’ll Bring

  • • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • 1 - 3 years of experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics roles preferred.
    • Basic understanding of shipping processes and documentation requirements.
    • Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems preferred.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order of processing.
    • Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.
    • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and material handling.
    • Basic computer skills for data entry and shipment tracking.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.
    • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred
