About the Job

1、Handling the shipping includes identifying the shipping method and providing the correct packing documents as well as arranging the shipment
Import shipment:

  • Confirm the shipping method (by truck/air/sea/express) and booking with the FWD create the AWB for the express shipment.

  • Check the freight cost and confirm with FWD

Export shipment:

  • Calculate the volume and book the space with FWD (at least 3 days before for HK and NL shipment, and 7 days before for US shipment).

  • Booking the truck before export shipment 1 day

  • Do keying data on system (Work with other dept. as IT, production line, QC to solve arisen issue: error picking list; error system...)

  • Make the warehouse release form

  • Make the pre-alert shipping documents sent to Distribution team

  • Sample shipment: about 5-7 shipments/week according to CS instruction

2、Handling the issues along with the shipment, such as:

  • Delay shipment, shortage the space in peak season

  • Provide tracking number of orders as CS or other dept's requires

  • Handle cases of lost or damaged goods during import and export.

3、Provide the export data for the customs: Classification by type of customs declaration (B13, E62, G23…), invoice, packing list, GW, Volume

4、Make the payment and reports (Team Guru, TRAM report, Logistics fee report)

5、Control the shipping cost and make sure the reasonable cost

6、Accomplish the other tasks assigned by Manager

About You

  • Education: University degree is preferred

  • Degree of Logistics/ Supply chain management major is preferred

  • Working in FDI, EPE company is advantage

  • Work Experience:

  • ~3 years or above of experience in a similar position

  • Familiar with support working in Shipping & Logistics

  • Use computers and MS software well.

  • Know & use MRP/ERP system

  • Able to use English in work; spoken & reading, writing email for communication with Global logistic team, FWD

  • Have business sense, able to negotiation

  • Able to manage several workers who support shipping
