Job Description

TruStile Doors is searching for a new Shipping Specialist to join our Shipping team. This position is responsible for building crates, preparing pallets for shipment, checking truck loads for accuracy and quality as well as assisting forklift loader with loading product onto trucks accurately, safely and efficiently. Responsible for using handheld scanners to accurately scan product being shipped and being able to read and interpret reports to ensure the correct orders are being shipped in the correct order. Required to work with the shipping team to pull orders accurately out of storage based on reports in preparation for shipment. This person works closely with the shipping supervisor to resolve issues and ensure a smooth truck loading process.

Responsibilities:

• Constructing crates for shipping doors
• Reading and understanding detailed reports
• Prepping orders in a timely manner
• Ability to use scan guns to scan product accurately
• Staging finished product in designated areas

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Must have basic computer skills and be comfortable with using IPads and computers to create reports and generate product labels
• Positive Attitude
• Team Player

Schedule

• Schedule is Monday – Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Hourly Rate:

This position is considered a 2A on the skills matrix. Employees below a 2A will be brought up to a 2A after training. Employees over a 2A will need to be brought down to a 2A if they take this position.
