Shipping Specialist
Location: 203A Log Canoe Circle, Stevensville, MD 21666-2128
Work Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
Salary Range: $17 - $20/hr

Hydrasearch is looking for a precision-driven and proactive Shipping Specialist to join our team in Stevensville, MD! This role is a perfect fit for a team player who takes pride in the "final mile"—ensuring that every order is picked with accuracy, packed with care, and shipped on time. You will act as a critical link between our warehouse and our customers, maintaining the high standards of inventory traceability and logistical excellence that our clients rely on.

What You'll Do

Order Fulfillment & Shipping

  • Accurately pick and pack customer orders, ensuring all items match system requirements.

  • Prepare materials for vendors and customers in a timely, efficient manner.

  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring safe and secure transport of goods.

  • Navigate the computer system to maintain 100% traceability of all inventory and shipments.

Warehouse Operations & Support

  • Maintain a neat, orderly, and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.

  • Collaborate closely with the Receiving and Accounting departments to streamline operations.

  • Assist the Receiving Department as needed with material check-ins and moving stock.

  • Participate in cycle counting to maintain inventory accuracy.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 1+ year of warehouse experience (Shipping, Distribution, or Logistics preferred).

  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and remain active on the warehouse floor.

  • Precision: Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on inventory accuracy.

  • Reliability: A strong sense of urgency and a commitment to punctual, reliable attendance.

  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively and treat all team members with respect.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial distribution

  • Forklift experience (stand-up and sit-down); however, we are willing to train the right candidate!

  • Familiarity with inventory management software or ERP systems.

  • Flexibility to pivot between picking, packing, and shipping roles as daily objectives change.
