The Experience You’ll Create:

The Shipping and Receiving Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate operation of all warehouse duties related to incoming and outgoing shipments. This position requires ensuring that goods are correctly verified, received, and stored, while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. The supervisor will delegate tasks to warehouse staff, monitor performance, and ensure all orders are accurately processed on time. The supervisor plays a key role in maintaining inventory integrity and ensuring compliance with safety and operational procedures.

Shift: Monday - Friday 4 AM to 1 PM
  • Stocking and Product Rotation: Properly stock all incoming products in their designated areas, ensuring proper product rotation and careful monitoring of expiration dates to minimize waste and maintain inventory integrity.
  • Storage Space Management: Determine space requirements for the storage of products and adjust product storage areas based on normal stock levels, ensuring efficient use of warehouse space.
  • Task Delegation: Delegate daily tasks to other Shipping and Receiving team members to ensure that all responsibilities are completed efficiently and on time.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure physical inventories of the warehouse are conducted regularly. Participate in counting and sorting incoming shipments to verify accuracy against invoices or purchase orders.
  • Shipping and Loading: Load trucks with products for shipment to other locations, ensuring all items are securely packed and labeled according to requirements.
  • Product Integrity and Safety: Ensure the integrity of all products, including temperature checking items on each delivery in accordance with food safety and quality control guidelines.
  • Warehouse Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by performing regular cleaning duties such as mopping and scrubbing floors, taking out trash, and keeping the facility orderly. Scrub the warehouse floors using the powered floor scrubber once per week.
  • Facility Maintenance: Monitor any general building maintenance issues and report them promptly to the General Manager for a resolution.
  • Reporting: Report directly to the General Manager regarding all relevant operations, including inventory status, shipments, and any issues that may arise in the warehouse.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Ingredients for Thriving:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred.
  • Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English.
  • Comfortable using technology (iPads, inventory systems).
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).
  • Must either be previously forklift certified or able to obtain certification as required.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
    Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Effective communication with team members and supervisors.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to service excellence.
Location(s) & Logistics:
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during working hours (with or without reasonable accommodations).
  • Ability to lift and push 30-50 pounds.
