Job Category: WarehouseMaintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities:
The duties for this position include but are not limited to the following:
- Work with department heads to coordinate warehouse activities, including production, purchasing, sales and customer service.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and 3rd party audits by working with QC, production and sanitation.
- Supervise the activities of warehouse clerks engaged in shipping, storing and receiving products and materials, including overseeing timecards in ADP, performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels of finished goods, packaging materials and ingredients.
- Review invoices, work orders and reports.
- Report any damages or discrepancies for record-keeping purposes.
- Inspect physical condition of the warehouse, forklifts and other equipment and order testing, maintenance, repairs and/or replacements.
- Suggest improvements to procedures to save time and/or to reduce costs.

QualificationsTo be eligible for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Prior experience as Shipping & Receiving Manager in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with all related paperwork such as bill of ladings, packing slips, etc.
- Hands-on shipping experience with Fed Ex, UPS and trucking companies, including FTL/LTL.
- Forklift certification required (must be capable of operating both a stand up and sit-down)
- Ability to supervise small groups no different shifts.
- Computer savvy (MicroSoft and Outlook).  Experience with Ross ERP preferred.
