This role offers a starting range of $77,000 to $90,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience, education, certifications, and skills, as well as geographic considerations.

We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving manager at our plant location. The person in this role will be responsible for:

  • Providing leadership to the shipping and receiving department
  • Driving operational continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and cost
  • Managing cycle count program to optimize warehouse accuracy
  • Working with internal plant support reps by providing clear, timely, & effective communication
  • Utilizing SAP & supporting shipping/receiving systems to accurately process orders
  • Compiling records of unfilled orders
  • Being committed to participation in TPM activities of the facility with a clear understanding of all KPI targets
  • Understanding current value stream to create improvement objectives for an ideal future state
  • Issuing written and oral instructions

Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

  • Possess detailed knowledge of shipping processes and supporting documentation for shipping globally via air, sea, and ground
  • Have Forklift license
  • Demonstrate supervisory ability, excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Have a minimum of Associates Degree and 10 years’ experience in S&R environment
  • Shows 5 years’ experience in building, developing, and leading teams
  • Demonstrate SAP/S4 HANA experience
  • Be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Additional qualifications that are helpful:

  • Read, analyze, and interpret procedures, write reports and manuals; effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers
  • Experience utilizing lean manufacturing tools
