Shipping & Receiving Clerk

• Pay: $19-21 per hour
• Shift: 1st (7:30am-5:30pm) (Fridays- 7:30am-12:30pm)
• Monday-Friday

Job Summary

We are urgently seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a manufacturing facility in Arlington. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, strong computer skills, and sit-down forklift experience. This position requires excellent attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse without climate control.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Prepare, package, and ship outgoing orders according to customer and company requirements.
• Create and process shipping labels and shipping documentation.
• Enter shipping and receiving information accurately using Microsoft Office and company computer systems.
• Load and unload trucks using a sit-down forklift when needed.
• Organize inventory and maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
• Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Shipping & Receiving experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse or manufacturing environment required.
• Sit-down forklift experience required.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Experience creating shipping labels and processing shipping documentation.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, and lifting.
• Must have the stamina to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment without air conditioning or heat.
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout the day.
