DuBois Health Care is seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to receive, verify, document, organize, and distribute incoming and outgoing inventory. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, preparing linen and supplies for delivery, supporting warehouse organization, and following all safety procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, comfortable with physical work, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, verify, and check in goods delivered to the warehouse and plant, including scrubs, linen, supplies, and packages.
Verify packing slips and enter receipt information into SAGE or the company database.
Prepare linen and other items for delivery to internal departments and other locations.
Maintain daily logs of shipments received and sent.
Distribute received goods to appropriate departments within the plant and corporate offices.
Maintain supply inventory, complete weekly supply orders, and keep inventory records accurate and up to date.
Complete weekly chemical inventory and assist with safe chemical handling and storage.
Ensure chemicals received and stored have appropriate hazard warning labels in coordination with maintenance leadership.
Receive bulk chemical deliveries and complete required chemical safety training.
Maintain linen inventory and inventory spreadsheets.
Keep storage trailers, dock areas, outside cages, and work areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
Operate safely and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Two years of related experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred.
Must be able to pass DOT drug and alcohol screening and DOT physical requirements as applicable.
Forklift certification required.
Basic math skills and ability to record accurate data.
Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and data entry experience.
Ability to understand detailed verbal and written instructions.
Ability to communicate clearly in both spoken and written form.
Ability to work safely, stay organized, and maintain regular attendance.
Physical Requirements
This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, grasping, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Heavy lifting may be required, including linen bales, pallets, boxes, supplies, and 55-gallon chemical drums. The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
