We're currently seeking a passionate and skilled Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality, engineered solutions to our customers worldwide. In this role you will be responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by coordinating the shipment of finished goods, purchasing and tracking designated indirect materials, and completing the final receiving of raw materials and subcontracted items. This role ensures materials and products flow efficiently through the facility while meeting quality, customer, and regulatory requirements. The position works closely with Production, Warehouse, Quality, Purchasing, and Customer Service to support on-time delivery and uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

Finished Goods Shipping

  • Coordinate and execute all finished goods shipments from the manufacturing facility to internal and external customers
  • Ensure shipments align with production schedules, customer requirements, and delivery commitments
  • Prepare, verify, and process all shipping documentation, including:
    • Certificates of Conformance (C of C)
    • Bills of Lading (BOLs)
    • Shipping Letters of Instruction
    • Proforma and Commercial Invoices
    • ITN filings (as applicable)
    • Advance Ship Notices (ASN)
  • Schedule freight, communicate with carriers, and track shipments to completion

Receiving & Quality Integration

  • Perform final receiving transactions for raw materials and subcontracted components
  • Verify received materials meet purchase order specifications, quality requirements, and documentation standards
  • Collaborate with Quality and Purchasing to resolve discrepancies, nonconformances, or documentation issues prior to release to production

Manufacturing Coordination

  • Work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor, Production, and Customer Service to resolve material flow, shipment issues, and production-related expedites
  • Support priority orders and critical production schedules as needed
  • Ensure inventory transactions accurately reflect manufacturing consumption and shipment activities

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to shipping, receiving, or inventory control
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Office required)

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing material flow and production support requirements
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with minimal supervision
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across production, warehouse, quality, and purchasing teams
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset with a focus on process improvement

This position is at our East Hanover, NJ location.

Pay Range: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
