Arthrex is actively searching for a Shipping and Receivng Clerk Sr. for the Fort Myers logistics center. The successful candidate will provide shipping of company products or materials and accepts additional responsibilities as designated by Shipping Supervisor. The work schedule is 6:00 am-2:30 pm, Monday-Friday

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Places items in appropriate packages for the type of item and wraps package to assure it arrives in proper condition.
• Prepares materials for shipment.
• May enter shipment in database system.
• Organize back-orders to provide most efficient shipping methods for customer.
• Processing customer orders via UPS/FedEX/DHL/USPS for international shipments.
• Forklift and related equipment operation.
• Makes the appropriate amount and type of box(es) or container(s) required for shipping.
• Insures that shipment requests from Arthrex personnel are packaged and handled accordingly.
• Periodically provide suggestions and ideas which become implemented by management.
• General housekeeping and cleanliness of working area.
• Complies and familiar with OSHA and ISO9002 standards.
• Performs other duties not listed here-in as assigned as by Shipping Supervisor.
• Operates and follows all safety training regulations off all equipment utilized for material handling and functions.
• Insures tasks such as QAD Rack, Open Order Report, Loaners and C3 shipments are handled properly.
• Orders appropriate supplies for maintaining Shipping functions.
• Selects orders in a timely manner.

Education and Experience:

• High school completion or equivalent is required
• 4 years in functions related to shipping preferred

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Basic knowledge of packaging and shipping procedures desired. Must be able to lift between 30 – 50 lbs consistently and up to 70 lbs on occasion. Must be able to be on their feet most of the day in a fast paced environment.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

Basic mailroom/shipping equipment and materials.

Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
