Job Description

Essential Functions

  • Prepare documents such as bills of lading
  • Correspond with order management as well as factory representatives to rectify problems so

that customer needs dates can be met

  • Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for transport
  • Contact carrier representatives to make transport arrangements
  • Organize distribution and shipping of merchandise: Make necessary verifications against

documents, prepare the merchandise, move merchandise to the appropriate area, and handle

customer pick-ups

  • Assign, tag, and store received inventory to proper location
  • Receive parts to stock that have come in from external suppliers
  • Ensure products are properly packed and labeled
  • Maintain safe and clean working area
  • Any other task assigned by supervisor or management
