Your Role on Our Team:

Champion your position as an adaptive and agile facilitator on an ever-evolving team.

You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

Shipping:

  • Process Domestic and international parcel and Freight shipments (Package returns, Batch shipping, and freight forwarding).
  • Process Hazmat shipments in compliance with 49 CFR compliance standards.
  • Maintain interdepartmental communication with safety and trade compliance teams to make sure international packages are shipped properly.
  • Stock and rotate appropriate materials for shipping functions
  • Provide professional customer service to personnel (shipping consultation, transfer guidance, and recycling instructions)
  • Maintain organized archives of outbound shipping records daily
  • Create service requests for Pallet and Crate fabrication in accordance with shipping scenario
  • Identify and communicate shipping discrepancies to requestors and Trade Compliance

Receiving:

  • Inspect, Offload and Receive truck freight
  • Master and comply with proper use of Electric fork trucks, lifts, ladders, hand tools, saws, and other required tools and equipment for shipping and receiving.
  • Facilitate package redirects and return shipments that may arrive erroneously
  • Maintain accurate tracking records and date audits through tracking software
  • Use internal web tracking software to support internal groups and manage internal packages.
  • Perform daily drop zone audits (EOD)

Miscellaneous:

  • Close and secure facility doors/gates, monitor cameras to let vendors inside premises, monitor material and hazmat recycling.

The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:

  • High School Diploma
  • Valid WI Driver’s License
  • Time management and task prioritization
  • Team Collaboration
  • Strong and Adaptive problem-solving skills
  • Must employ critical thinking analysis, detail orientation, and independent decision-making skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills

Working Conditions:  

Professional/Corporate office and lab environment

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, stretch, reach, and effectively communicate with others in the workplace
  • Sitting for prolonged periods of time
  • Prolonged exposure to computer screens
  • Repetitive use of hands and fingers to operate office equipment
  • Moderate/loud noise such as group meetings, tools, heavy work equipment, phones, and printers (40dB -130dB)
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
  • May require local travel dependent on company needs (1-15miles from location)
