Compensation Range: $44,000 - $54,900

Job Purpose

The Shipping & Logistics Clerk is responsible for managing the day-to-day movement of materials, products, and equipment into and out of the facility, while also assisting with a variety of site and facilities-related activities. This role supports efficient shipping and receiving operations, vendor coordination, and logistical support for facility maintenance, repair, and improvement projects.


The position plays a key part in ensuring operational readiness across the site, supporting both production and administrative teams by coordinating deliveries, maintaining organized work areas, and helping facilitate a safe, functional, and efficient workplace.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling carriers, tracking deliveries, and preparing documentation such as packing lists, bills of lading, and shipping labels. Use company vehicle to deliver and pick up shipments in the greater Front Range area.
  • Receive, inspect, and route incoming materials and supplies to appropriate departments; maintain accurate records of receipts and shipments.
  • Oversee organization and upkeep of the shipping, receiving, and warehouse areas to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Provide hands-on assistance with facility-related activities such as vendor coordination, equipment moves, maintenance support, and workspace organization.
  • Partner with Facilities and EHS teams to support safe disposal of hazardous materials, batteries, and waste in compliance with environmental and safety standards.
  • Coordinate logistics and materials for site maintenance, construction, or improvement projects as assigned.
  • Support Procurement by assisting with incoming and outgoing materials associated with purchase orders, returns, and capital projects.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to provide timely updates on shipments, deliveries, and facility-related tasks.
  • Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency, vendor responsiveness, and workplace organization.
  • Maintain professional and service-oriented communication with employees, vendors, and delivery personnel.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • Educational requirement: Minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent).
  • Ability to follow and execute standard operating procedures in an aerospace environment.
  • Executes work with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to work within a close-knit team and adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Database entry experience with Excel or similar programs.
  • Off hours or weekend support may be required at times.
