Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse team. This position is responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, preparing orders for shipment, and safely handling materials throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, forklift operation, and warehouse logistics within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and process outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently
• Receive incoming materials, inspect shipments, and verify quantities
• Complete shipping and receiving paperwork and maintain accurate records
• Enter shipment and inventory information into tracking systems
• Load, unload, move, and organize materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, or other material handling equipment
• Build boxes, crates, and packaging for shipments
• Label and identify materials, products, and inventory properly
• Assist with inventory counts and inventory control processes
• Report damaged materials, shipment discrepancies, or inventory issues
• Transport materials and products within the facility as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow company safety procedures and warehouse protocols
• Assist production and warehouse teams with material handling and staging

Qualifications

• Previous shipping and receiving or warehouse experience preferred
• Manufacturing or industrial experience is a plus
• Forklift experience required
• Ability to operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively
