Job Location Click Bond Carson City - Carson City, NV 89706

Responsible for various tasks relating to the receipt, storage, movement and shipment of internal and external customer orders.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Verify accuracy of documentation and materials for inbound and outbound package, LTL and freight shipments.
  • Ensures safe and efficient movement of goods and materials by hand or forklift.
  • Utilize multiple transportation vendor systems, as well as customer required.
  • Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure a high level of internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Report immediately all suspicious and hazardous conditions to a supervisor.
  • Understand and observe all safety guidelines and assure quality and safety by complying with all appropriate CBI policies and procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining clean, orderly and hazard-free work areas.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision, be a self-starter and be detail oriented.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Basic computer navigation skills.
  • Ability to type 40+ words per minute.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse practices.
  • Ability to write and read English.
  • Prior experience operating a forklift is a plus.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent General Education Diploma (GED).
  • General warehousing and shipping experience is a plus.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This is not a supervisory position.

  • Team member must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50+ pounds with the assistance of proper machinery.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend and reach for duration of shift.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:

  • Protective eyewear and/or hearing are required when near or in a production area.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • May be exposed to noise, smells, dust, etc.
  • Work requires the observance of fire regulations and safe work practices.
  • May occasionally be tasked with handling hazardous materials.
