More ways to build a career that moves you forward. Baron BMW is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping & Receiving Associate to support our high-performing Parts Department. This role is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing automotive parts, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring efficient operations that support both internal service teams and external customers. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment and takes pride in organization, accuracy, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts shipments for accuracy and damage
  • Accurately stock and organize parts in designated warehouse locations
  • Process outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and coordinating with carriers
  • Maintain precise inventory records and assist with cycle counts and audits
  • Communicate promptly with vendors and internal teams regarding discrepancies or delays
  • Support parts counter staff and service technicians by locating and delivering parts
  • Ensure all parts are handled, stored, and transported in accordance with company standards
  • Keep the parts warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety guidelines
  • Assist with returns processing and core management procedures
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, or automotive parts preferred
  • Automotive experince/ knowledge preffered
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift and move packages (typically up to 50 lbs) and be on your feet for extended periods
  • Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)
  • Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency
