The Shipping/Receiving Associate supports shipping and receiving operations for inbound and outbound materials, products, bundles, and miscellaneous supplies including the scheduling, arrangement, on time delivery, and coordination of transportation to ensure shipping/receiving timelines are met utilizing the ERP (EPICOR) system.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support Shipping/Receiving operations by ensuring the proper processing of all inbound and outbound shipments
• Create bill of lading (BOL) and supporting documents for truck load (TL) and less than truckload (LTL) shipments in TA Services.
• Appropriately updates the Epicor ERP system with job numbers and tracking information
• Operates forklift to move raw material as well as finished goods throughout facility.
• Will communicate regularly using a combination of phone and email systems.
• Will need to be able to understand and react to an ever-changing shipping schedule.
• Responsible for documenting time to appropriate manufacturing orders by clocking in and clocking out of jobs daily
• Support of smalls parts picking, packing and shipping as needed using both Epicor to pick and consume and TA or FedEx to schedule shipments.
• Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area, including proper storage, disposal of materials, and maintain 5S standards.
• Work overtime as needed to meet the schedule.
• Train new production employees as needed.
• Performs company activities in addition to the above as assigned by Supervisor and/or Team Leader.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in shipping/receiving
• Forklift operation skills preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as required
• Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
