Job Description

Reports to: Plant Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and implements appropriate department targets and key performance indicators (KPI's) per department/KASAI objectives
  • Aligns department activities to increase customer satisfaction while maximizing company profitability
  • Serves as a resource for the investigation/resolution of intra-departmental issues and assists team with appropriate direction within the scope of daily operations.
  • Communicates, administers and enforces company policies and procedures applicable to department operations.
  • Creates an environment within the department that is positive and encourages employee involvement.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment following prescribed company guidelines.
  • Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies.

Education:

  • High School Education or GED with either two (2) years College related experience.

Experience:

  • 6-10 years of prior shipping and receiving management in plastic manufacturing or similar environment.
  • 6-10 years of prior management experience.
  • Clear understanding of supply chain management principles.

Skills:

  • Ability to exhibit organizational, interpersonal and mathematical skill level sets to successfully meet the requirements and expectations of this position

Other:

  • Exhibit appropriate leadership skills to motivate and encourage associate performance
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Familiarity with related software applications, i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint....etc.

Work Environment

This job operates in an office and manufacturing environment, and routinely uses standard office equipment. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud but are within OSHA standards.
