Shipping & Receiving – Afternoon Shift

Pay & Benefits

  • Starting at $20.00/hour, with higher pay for manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or equipment experience
  • $1.50/hour shift differential

Schedule

  • Paid first-shift training (7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) for approximately 90 days
  • Transition to 2nd Shift: 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
  • 8-hour shifts with a paid lunch

What You’ll Do (Core Shipping & Receiving Work)

  • Lead with safety in every task
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently
  • Pick, stage, and pack customer orders for shipment
  • Build and load outbound trucks to meet delivery schedules
  • Receive incoming materials and complete accurate system transactions
  • Store materials in proper inventory locations
  • Verify product accuracy, quantities, and shipping documentation
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper handling and paperwork
  • Operate forklifts and overhead cranes
  • Keep your work area clean, organized, and aligned with quality standards
  • Support the team with additional duties as needed

What You Need to Succeed

  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
  • Ability to accurately receive, store, stage, and ship materials
  • Knowledge of inventory control practices
  • Clear communication and solid organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic math skills for inventory and documentation
  • Computer proficiency; ability to learn Oracle and other shipping applications
  • Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet shipping deadlines
  • Forklift/crane certification or ability to obtain
  • Valid driver’s license if driving duties are required
  • Ability to perform physical work in a manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of OSHA requirements and company safety procedures
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, 6S, and waste reduction

Preferred Background

  • Shipping & receiving, warehouse, or material handling experience
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Forklift or overhead crane operation
  • Experience with inventory or ERP systems
  • Reliable transportation (there is no public transportation or pedestrian access)
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
