About the Role:

We are looking for a Shipper and Receiver to deliver the exceptional service experience. Our goal at Wabash is to drive customer and employee success while maintaining our Customer Satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity with a leading manufacturer of stainless-steel equipment serving all industries used by all consumers, while working closely with a close-knit team to plan and accomplish all goals.

Pull, pack and label parts for shipment (includes boxing parts and building wood crates for shipping). Coordinate prompt, efficient and timely flow of paperwork. Operate forklift to pull material from different plants. Load LTL semi-trailers using a forklift. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Load andunload trucks via forklift
  • Identify parts by reading labels/orders and pull parts
  • Prepare parts orders for shop
  • Load LTL semi-trailers using a forklift
  • Load and unload truck bodies
  • Work independently
  • Break down parts after receiving and put away in correct location.
  • Ships FedEx, Old Dominion, UPS.
  • Ships SO’s, truck bodies, chassis, and Parts directly to the customers.
  • Ships orders in a time sensitive manner.

Requirements:

  • Basic computer and typing skills
  • AS400 experience is a plus
  • Forklift experience is a must
  • Excellent communications, customer service and organizational skills, works directly with the customers and outbound services.
  • Familiar with Federal Express software systems
  • High School diploma or GED or equivalent relevant experience
  • Basic math skills for inventory reporting
  • Be able to pass a DOT physical
  • Drive non CDL work trucks- 26000 pounds and below within 25 miles
