Job Description

At Wabash, we are seeking a Shipper and Receiver who is committed to delivering exceptional service experience. Our mission is to support both customer and employee success while upholding a high standard of customer satisfaction.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • Pull, pack, and label parts for shipment, including boxing parts and building wooden crates.
  • Coordinate the efficient and timely flow of shipping and receiving paperwork.
  • Operate a forklift to retrieve materials from multiple plant locations.
  • Load LTL (less-than-truckload) semi-trailers using a forklift.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Basic computer and typing skills
  • AS400 experience is a plus
  • Forklift experience is a must
  • Excellent communications, customer service and organizational skills, work directly with the customers and outbound services.
  • Familiar with Federal Express software systems
  • High School diploma or GED or equivalent relevant experience
  • Basic math skills for inventory reporting
