Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 Salary/year
Job Shift: FirstAre you a dynamic leader with a passion for logistics and team development? We’re looking for a Shipping Manager to oversee and drive excellence in our shipping and distribution operations in our Chatsworth, Ill plant. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in ensuring smooth order entry, inventory management, and on-time load deliveries — all while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and coach a high-performing team, ensuring accountability and ownership within the department.
- Manage customer service, dispatch, inventory control, and product delivery.
- Oversee safe loading and unloading processes, in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Coordinate with customers, drivers, and transportation services for cost-effective delivery solutions.
- Maintain accurate yard inventory through organization and cycle counts.
- Collaborate with sales, manufacturing, and logistics teams to exceed customer expectations.
- Champion safety initiatives, investigate incidents, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Support team growth through cross-training, ongoing learning, and regular performance reviews.

QualificationsWhat You Bring:
- Associate’s degree preferred, with at least 2 years of shipping leadership experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of DOT requirements (CDL preferred) and ability to achieve forklift certification.
- Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a production environment with varying conditions.
