Shipping Manager

As Shipping Manager, you’ll play a central role in overseeing daily operations, managing a skilled team, and building lasting client relationships. You’ll bring both hands-on operational expertise and strategic oversight, ensuring the team meets targets while upholding best-in-class service standards.
What You’ll Be Doing

• Overseeing the day-to-day shipping operations and ensuring smooth delivery of services

• Leading, managing and developing a multidisciplinary team including supervisors, officers, agents, and coordinators

• Managing cashflow coordination with the Finance department and ensuring timely file closure

• Supporting collections and financial documentation processes

• Building strong relationships with existing clients while also engaging new business opportunities

• Driving compliance with HSQE policies and contributing to continuous improvement

• Participating in HSQE committee and management review meetings

What You’ll Bring to the Table

• 5–7 years’ experience in shipping operations, with a strong track record in team leadership

• Background in shipping, transport, or logistics education

• Deep knowledge of the shipping industry and international operations

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to lead and develop teams in dynamic, cross-cultural environments

• Clean criminal record and sound judgement
