The basic function of the Shipping Coordinator is to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient movement of finished goods, samples, returns, and

stock transfers for Grand Junction and external warehouse locations. This role is accountable for processing and monitoring orders in the ERP

system, coordinating transportation and warehouse activities, maintaining visibility of inventory availability, supporting FIFO allocation,

communicating shipment status or issues to Customer Service and Materials Management, and helping resolve order, allocation, delivery, or

customer complaint issues to support reliable service and business continuity.

Activities

  • Responsible for reviewing and properly executing revenue and sample orders.
  • Interface with Materials Manager, Warehouse, Customer Service, Tolling Manager, and transport vendors.
  • Monitors inventories and orders for Grand Junction and external warehouses to ensure timely shipping of orders and stock transfers from Grand Junction and external warehouses
  • Schedule transfers of GJ products to external warehouse(s).
  • Backup, as needed, for external warehouse sales order processing.
  • Interface with external warehouse team(s).
  • Ensure accurate and timely shipments.
  • Schedule and monitor processing of external warehouse shipments.
  • Collaborate with Materials Manager to ensure adequate product inventory.
  • Schedule transport for STO’s and customer deliveries.
  • Monitor the movement, storage and processing of off-site inventory to ensure availability prior to required ship date. Notify Materials
  • Manager and Customer Service of any short falls.
  • Track on-time shipments of for-sale product and samples.
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints.
  • Interface for all communications between warehouse and customer service team.
  • Document receipt of product returns.
  • Manage all material movements in ERP system: bulk; totes; drums; pails; samples.
  • Ensure order allocation (typically FIFO) and troubleshoot allocation or order processing issues.
  • Work closely with Corporate Customer Service
  • Work closely with Materials Manager, Warehouse, and Plant Manager
  • Interact with TECV Business Group

Candidate Profile

High School diploma or GED equivalent required plus one of the following:

  • 60+ college credit hours in a business-related field.
  • College Degree preferredMinimum of 3 years office experience or a business school certificate plus 2 years office experience
  • Working knowledge of Windows Office Suite Software (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of SAP

Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires compensation disclosure on all internal/external postings: The anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on competencies and experience of the selected candidate.
