Shipping Coordinator

Compensation: $20.69 / hour
Our Shipping Coordinator is vital in keeping our shipping department humming and our customers happy. You'll assist inventory control from arrival to departure—adding stock, assigning inventory locations, staging and processing orders, and coordinating shipment locations to get product out the door on time and accurate.
What You'll Do Day-to-Day
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock assignments in our shipping operation
- Stage and process inventory for shipment, ensuring orders are correct before they leave our facility
- Assign shipment locations and coordinate with our Assembly Department and leadership team to catch and correct any order discrepancies before they become headaches
- Keep the shipping area organized, clean, and safe
- Work alongside the Shipping Supervisor and our Assembly Department to troubleshoot issues and keep production flowing
How You Will Help
- Manage inventory control systems: receive, verify, and accurately log all incoming stock and materials
- Assign and track inventory locations to maintain organized, accessible storage
- Stage and process orders for shipment according to specifications and timelines
- Coordinate shipment locations and verify order accuracy before items leave the facility
- Communicate with Assembly Department and leadership to identify and resolve order discrepancies
- Maintain daily logs and documentation to ensure accurate records
- Keep shipping workspace clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Report operational issues to Shipping Supervisor and recommend process improvements
- Support the Shipping Supervisor in meeting shipping deadlines and delivery commitments

Preferred:
- Experience in inventory management, shipping, or warehouse operations
- Familiarity with computer-based inventory or order management systems (example: M3, WMS/M4)
- Understanding of manufacturing environments and production timelines
